Tacos Preparation

Cook the Ground Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat if needed.

Add Taco Seasoning
Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the cooked beef and add 1/4 cup of water. Stir and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Prepare Taco Shells
While the beef is cooking, warm the taco shells in the oven according to the package instructions.

Assemble Tacos
In each taco shell, add a portion of the seasoned beef, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and salsa to taste.
Rice and Beans Preparation

Cook the Rice
In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the white rice and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for about 18-20 minutes until the rice is tender and water is absorbed.

Season the Beans
Add lime juice and salt to the beans, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until heated through. Mix in chopped cilantro before serving.

Serve
Plate the tacos along with a serving of rice and beans on the side. Garnish with additional cilantro if desired.
