Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Glass

Start by rimming the glass with lime juice and then dip it into salt to coat the rim. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Jalapeño

Slice the jalapeño in half lengthwise. If you prefer a milder flavor, remove the seeds. Slice one half into thin rounds for garnish and set aside.

  3. 3

    Mix the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, pineapple juice, fresh lime juice, agave syrup, and the other half of the jalapeño. Fill the shaker with ice.

  4. 4

    Shake the Cocktail

Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is well chilled.

  5. 5

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. Optionally, you can use a fine mesh strainer to catch any jalapeño seeds.

  6. 6

    Garnish

Garnish the margarita with a lime wedge and a slice of pineapple. Add the reserved jalapeño slices for an extra kick.
