Wine Selection
Method
Wine Making Process
- 1
Harvesting Grapes
Select ripe Sauvignon Blanc grapes from the vineyard. Ensure they are free from any rot or disease.
- 2
Crushing Grapes
Crush the harvested grapes gently to release the juice. Use a fruit press if available.
- 3
Fermentation
Transfer the crushed grapes and juice into a fermentation vessel. Add the yeast and sugar to the mixture. Allow it to ferment at a controlled temperature (between 18 to 22 degrees Celsius) for approximately 2 weeks.
- 4
Racking
After fermentation, siphon the wine off the sediment into another clean vessel. This process is called racking.
- 5
Adding Sulfites
Add the sulfites to the wine to prevent oxidation and preserve the freshness of the flavor. Stir gently to incorporate.
- 6
Aging
Allow the wine to age for at least 3 months in a cool, dark place. This will help develop its flavors and aromas.
