Preparation Steps
Cook the Beef
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the locally sourced beef with salt and black pepper, then add it to the skillet. Brown the beef on all sides.
Add Broth
Pour in the beef broth, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the beef is tender and thoroughly cooked.
Assemble the Hoagies
Once the beef is cooked, shred it using two forks. Take the Italian hoagie rolls and fill them with a generous portion of shredded beef, followed by the sliced Polish sausage.
Add Giardiniera
Top each hoagie with hot or mild giardiniera according to your preference.
Serve
If desired, dip the assembled hoagies in the remaining beef broth for extra flavor. Serve immediately.
