Preparation Steps

1

Cook the Beef

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the locally sourced beef with salt and black pepper, then add it to the skillet. Brown the beef on all sides.

2

Add Broth

Pour in the beef broth, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the beef is tender and thoroughly cooked.

3

Prepare the Sausage

While the beef is cooking, grill or pan-fry the Polish sausage until golden brown. Slice it into bite-sized pieces.

4

Assemble the Hoagies

Once the beef is cooked, shred it using two forks. Take the Italian hoagie rolls and fill them with a generous portion of shredded beef, followed by the sliced Polish sausage.

5

Add Giardiniera

Top each hoagie with hot or mild giardiniera according to your preference.

6

Serve

If desired, dip the assembled hoagies in the remaining beef broth for extra flavor. Serve immediately.
