Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Frank
Wrap each Angus beef frank with two slices of bacon, making sure to cover it completely. Secure the ends of the bacon with toothpicks if necessary.
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or deep fryer, heat the oil to 350°F (175°C).
Deep Fry the Franks
Carefully place the wrapped franks in the hot oil. Fry them for about 5-7 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the frank is heated through.
Prepare the Toppings
While the franks are frying, heat the queso blanco in a small saucepan over low heat until melted. Stir occasionally to ensure it doesn’t burn.
Assemble the Fancy Francheezie
Once the franks are cooked, remove them from the oil and let them drain on paper towels. Place each frank on a poppy seed bun, drizzle with warm queso blanco, and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Serve
Serve immediately while hot and enjoy your Fancy Francheezie Dog!
