Method
Garnish & Rim
- 1
Prepare sugar rim
On a small plate, combine the granulated sugar and crushed freeze‑dried strawberries (if using). Mix until evenly colored. Rub the lemon wedge around the outer rim of a chilled coupe or short stem glass to moisten, then dip the rim into the sugar mixture, turning to coat evenly. Set the glass aside.
Cocktail
- 2
Combine ingredients
Add Seedlip Grove 42, Seedlip Garden 108, fresh lemon juice, strawberry purée, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker.
- 3
Add ice and shake
Fill the shaker with ice (about 3/4 full). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels very cold and slightly frosted.
- 4
Double strain
Open the shaker and strain the cocktail through a fine mesh strainer (or use the shaker's strainer and a tea strainer) into the prepared sugar‑rimmed glass. Strain over fresh ice if you prefer it on the rocks, or serve straight up in the coupe.
- 5
Garnish and serve
Thread the fresh strawberry on a pick or slice and float it on the rim or surface. Serve immediately.
