Method
Prep & muddle
- 1
Muddle cucumber
Place 4 cucumber slices in a cocktail shaker. Add 0.25 oz simple syrup if you want a touch of sweetness (optional). Gently muddle the cucumber 6–8 times to release fresh cucumber juice and aroma — avoid over-muddling into a puree.
Mix & shake
- 2
Add 2 oz Grey Goose Pear vodka, 0.75 oz St-Germain, and 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice to the shaker with the muddled cucumber. Fill the shaker halfway with ice (about 1 cup). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until well-chilled and slightly frosty.
Strain & top
- 3
Double-strain the contents into a chilled Collins or highball glass filled with fresh ice using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer to remove cucumber solids. Top with 2 oz chilled club soda, gently stir once to combine.
