Method

Lobster Preparation

1

Boil the Water

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the boiling water.

2

Cook the Lobster Tails

Carefully place the lobster tails into the boiling water. Cover the pot and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.

3

Cool and Remove Meat

Remove the lobster tails from the pot and place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Once cool, carefully remove the meat from the shells and chop into bite-sized pieces.

Cocktail Sauce

4

Mix the Sauce

In a bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 teaspoon of hot sauce. Stir well to combine.

5

Season the Sauce

Add salt and black pepper to the sauce to taste. Adjust the flavors according to your preference.

Assembly

6

Combine Lobster and Sauce

In a serving dish, place the chopped lobster meat and drizzle the cocktail sauce over it. Toss gently to coat the lobster in the sauce.

7

Garnish

Garnish the lobster cocktail with lemon wedges and fresh parsley sprigs before serving.
