Fit Turkey Wrap

Ensure the bottle of house white has been properly chilled to 45–55°F (7–13°C). If not already chilled, place bottle in refrigerator for at least 2 hours or in an ice bucket with a 1:1 mixture of ice and water for 20–30 minutes.

Chill wine

If using an ice bucket to maintain temperature at the table, fill the bucket halfway with ice and add a little water to create an even chill. Place bottle in the bucket until service.

Prepare ice bucket (optional)

Choose a clean, dry 8 oz stemless wine glass or a standard white wine glass. If using a napkin, fold it and place it under the glass or present it with the bottle.

Select glass

Open the bottle if unopened. Hold the bottle at its base, tilt the glass slightly (about 15–20°), and pour a full 8 oz (about 240 ml) into the glass. Aim for a steady stream to avoid splashing. For a cleaner presentation, stop the pour, twist the bottle slightly, and lift to prevent drips.

Pour

If the guest prefers a small citrus accent, lightly run a lemon wedge around the rim or rest a twist on the glass edge. Do not over-garnish; the wine should remain the focus.

Garnish (optional)

Present the poured 8 oz glass to the guest on a napkin or small coaster. If serving with the bottle on the table, place the ice bucket and bottle beside the glass so the guest can re-chill as needed.

Service

If the guest will sip slowly, return the bottle to the ice bucket after the initial pour. Check temperature periodically and top the bucket with additional ice as needed to keep the wine at 45–55°F (7–13°C).
