Fresh Juices

Optional Garnish & Serving

Method

Fresh Juices

  1. 1

    Prepare Orange Juice

If using whole oranges: roll each orange on the counter to loosen juices, cut in half and juice until you have 4 cups (about 8–10 medium oranges). Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher if you prefer pulp-free juice. Chill or add ice as desired.

  2. 2

    Prepare Apple Juice

If using store-bought apple juice: pour 4 cups into a chilled pitcher. If using fresh apples: core and roughly chop enough apples (about 6–8 medium) and press through a juicer to yield 4 cups. Strain if you want a clearer juice. Chill before serving.

  3. 3

    Prepare Cranberry Juice

Use 100% cranberry juice (not cocktail) and pour 4 cups into a chilled pitcher. If you prefer a slightly sweeter tartness, you can dilute with up to 1/2 cup filtered water or sweeten lightly with simple syrup to taste; otherwise serve straight and chilled.

Optional Garnish & Serving

  1. 4

Fill glasses halfway with ice (about 1/2 cup ice per 8-10 oz glass). Pour the chosen juice (orange, apple, or cranberry) into each glass, about 8–10 oz per serving. Garnish with an orange slice on the rim for orange juice, an apple slice for apple juice, or a few fresh cranberries dropped into the cranberry juice.

  2. 5

Serve juices immediately while cold. Keep extra juice chilled in the refrigerator up to 48 hours for best freshness (store in airtight container). Stir before serving if separation occurs.
