Garlic Herb Butter

Method

Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Garlic Herb Butter

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, thyme, rosemary, and lemon zest. Mix until well combined. Transfer the herb butter to a piece of plastic wrap, roll it into a log, and refrigerate until firm.

2

Season the Tomahawk Steak

Take the tomahawk steak out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30-45 minutes. Preheat your grill or oven to high heat. Generously season both sides of the steak with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

3

Cook the Steak

If using a grill, place the steak on the grill and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time based on your desired doneness. If using an oven, sear the steak in a hot oven-safe skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side on the stovetop before transferring it to a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for an additional 10-15 minutes.

4

Rest and Serve

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 10-15 minutes. Slice the steak and serve with slices of the garlic herb butter on top.
