Method
Baby Back Ribs
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and season them with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Make the Glaze
In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and hot sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Bake the Ribs
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Brush with the glaze, cover with foil, and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
Sweet Potato Fries
Prepare the Fries
Cut sweet potatoes into fries or wedges. Toss with olive oil, salt, paprika, and garlic powder.
Bake the Fries
Spread fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the oven at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes or until crispy, flipping halfway through.
Apple Jicama Coleslaw
Combine Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, jicama, grated apple, and carrot.
Make the Dressing
In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper. Pour over the coleslaw mixture and toss to combine.
