Baby Back Ribs

Method

Baby Back Ribs

1

Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and season them with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

2

Make the Glaze

In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and hot sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.

3

Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Brush with the glaze, cover with foil, and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.

4

Finish on the Grill

Preheat the grill to medium-high. Brush the ribs with more glaze and grill for 5-10 minutes, turning occasionally until caramelized.

Sweet Potato Fries

5

Prepare the Fries

Cut sweet potatoes into fries or wedges. Toss with olive oil, salt, paprika, and garlic powder.

6

Bake the Fries

Spread fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the oven at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes or until crispy, flipping halfway through.

Apple Jicama Coleslaw

7

Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, jicama, grated apple, and carrot.

8

Make the Dressing

In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper. Pour over the coleslaw mixture and toss to combine.
