Served with bourbon cream sauce & vanilla ice cream.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the stale bread into cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.
In another bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
Pour the custard mixture over the cubed bread. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and fresh blueberries, ensuring the bread is well coated.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden and the custard is set.
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of heavy cream, 1/4 cup of bourbon, and 1/4 cup of sugar. Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves and sauce thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes.
Let the bread pudding cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with bourbon cream sauce and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
