Phyllo Layers

Chantilly Cream

Method

Prepare Phyllo Layers

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2

Layer the Phyllo Dough

On a clean surface, lay out one sheet of phyllo dough and brush it with melted butter. Repeat this process, layering and buttering each sheet, until you have a stack of 5 sheets.

3

Bake the Phyllo

Cut the stacked phyllo into rectangles and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Let them cool completely.

Prepare Mixed Berries

4

Mix the Berries

In a bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and sugar. Toss gently and let sit for about 10 minutes to allow the juices to develop.

Prepare Chantilly Cream

5

Whip the Cream

In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until soft peaks form.

Assemble the Berry Napoleon

6

Layer the Components

On a plate, place one phyllo layer, add a spoonful of mixed berries, and a dollop of Chantilly cream. Repeat the layering process with another phyllo layer, berries, and cream, finishing with a phyllo layer on top.

7

Serve

Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve immediately.
