Method

Omelet Preparation

  1. 1

    Whisk the Eggs

In a mixing bowl, crack the 3 large eggs and whisk them together until fully combined. Add salt and black pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Filling

In a separate bowl, combine the chopped ham, shredded American cheese, chopped green bell pepper, chopped onion, and diced tomato. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Cook the Omelet

In a non-stick skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Pour the whisked eggs into the skillet and cook for about 2 minutes, until the edges start to set.

  4. 4

    Add the Filling

Once the edges are set, add the filling mixture evenly over one half of the omelet. Allow it to cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese starts to melt.

  5. 5

    Fold and Serve

Carefully fold the omelet in half over the filling using a spatula. Cook for another minute before sliding it onto a plate.
