Seasoning and Cooking Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the onions, mushrooms, and bell pepper into thin strips.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

In a bowl, season the shaved steak with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well to ensure even seasoning.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they start to soften.

  2. 4

    Add the Mushrooms

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and continue to sauté for another 5 minutes until all the vegetables are tender. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 5

    Cook the Steak

In the same skillet, add the seasoned shaved steak. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is browned and cooked through.

  4. 6

    Combine Ingredients

Add the sautéed vegetables back into the skillet with the steak and mix well. Cook together for an additional 2 minutes to combine flavors.

  5. 7

    Add Cheese

Place slices of cheese on top of the steak and vegetable mixture. Cover the skillet for 2-3 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt.

Assembly

  1. 8

    Prepare the Rolls

Slice the toasted rolls in half and place them on plates.

  2. 9

    Assemble the Sandwiches

Spoon the steak and vegetable mixture generously onto the bottom half of each toasted roll. Place the top half of the roll over the filling.
