Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the Applewood smoked bacon until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Flip the bacon occasionally for even cooking. Once cooked, transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the bacon is cooking, rinse the lettuce under cold water, shake off excess water, and tear into large pieces. Slice the tomatoes into thick rounds.

Assembly

  1. 3

    Spread the Mayonnaise

Take the slices of bread and spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on one side of each slice.

  2. 4

    Layer the Ingredients

On two slices of bread with mayonnaise, layer the crispy bacon, followed by the lettuce pieces and tomato slices. Top with the remaining slices of bread, mayonnaise side down.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve the Sandwich

Cut the sandwich in half diagonally and serve immediately with your choice of side, such as potato chips, pickles, or French fries.
