Preparation of Haddock

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2
Prepare the Haddock
Pat the haddock fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Making the Topping

Melt Butter and Sauté Garlic
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, but do not let it brown.

Assemble the Dish
Place the seasoned haddock fillets in a baking dish. Evenly distribute the breadcrumb topping over each fillet.
- 6
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the topping is golden brown.
Preparing the Side Dish

Cook Green Beans
While the haddock is baking, steam or boil the green beans until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving

Plate the Dish
Once the haddock is done, remove from the oven and let rest for a minute. Serve each fillet with a side of green beans or your choice of side.
