Method
Preparing the Ribs
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- 2
Season the Ribs
In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Rub this mixture all over the baby back ribs.
- 3
Wrap and Bake
Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
Making the Barbecue Sauce
- 4
Combine Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- 5
Simmer the Sauce
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low and let it cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
Finishing the Ribs
- 6
Glaze the Ribs
Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap them. Brush a generous amount of the barbecue sauce over the ribs.
- 7
Broil the Ribs
Place the ribs under a broiler for 5-7 minutes, watching closely to ensure they do not burn, until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.
