Method
Prepare Glass
- 1
Rim (optional)
If you prefer a rimmed glass, run the lime wedge around the rim of a chilled rocks glass or coupe, then dip the rim into coarse salt or tajín to coat lightly. Set the glass aside.
Mix Cocktail
- 2
Fill a cocktail shaker about two-thirds full with fresh ice.
- 3
Add 2 oz Casamigos Blanco tequila, 1 oz passion fruit nectar, 1 oz mango nectar, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz agave nectar to the shaker.
- 4
Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 12–15 seconds, or until the shaker exterior becomes very cold and you hear a solid slosh.
- 5
If using a rocks glass over ice: fill the prepared glass with fresh ice. Strain the cocktail over the ice using a Hawthorne or fine strainer. If serving up (no ice): double-strain into the chilled coupe or martini glass to catch ice shards and pulp.
Finish & Garnish
- 6
Optional: Spoon or pour the seeds/pulp from half a fresh passion fruit on top of the cocktail for aroma and a dramatic 'poison' float.
- 7
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Serve immediately.
