Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Beef

Cut the beef tenderloin into 1-inch cubes and season with the apple & honey rub. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2

Make the Apple & Honey Rub

In a small bowl, mix honey, apple cider vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

3

Prepare the Green Onion BBQ Sauce

In a mixing bowl, combine chopped green onions, olive oil, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Set aside.

4

Make the Garlic & Puffed Rice Crumble

In a skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add puffed rice and parsley, stirring to combine. Cook until golden and crispy, then season with salt.

5

Prepare the Sweet Heat Steak Sauce

In a separate bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until smooth.

Grilling

6

Skewer the Kabobs

Thread the marinated beef cubes onto skewers, alternating with pieces of green onion.

7

Grill the Kabobs

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the kabobs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked to desired doneness.

Serving

8

Serve the Kabobs

Remove the kabobs from the grill and let rest for a few minutes. Serve with garlic & puffed rice crumble and sweet heat steak sauce on the side.
