Cooking Instructions
Cook the Macaroni
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Cheese Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine buffalo sauce, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until melted and smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Combine Pasta and Sauce
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni with the buffalo cheese sauce. Mix well to ensure pasta is fully coated.
Prepare the Chicken
Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded chicken breasts until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
Assemble the Dish
Serve the buffalo mac in bowls, topped with sliced fried chicken, bleu cheese crumbles, and chopped green onions.
