Mu Shi Chicken Preparation

Prepare the Chicken
Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips. Season with salt and black pepper.

Cook the Chicken
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add garlic, ginger, shiitake mushrooms, and shredded cabbage. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

Combine Ingredients
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Serve
Serve the Mu Shi chicken mixture in warm flour tortillas or rice wrappers, garnished with sliced green onions.
