Combine and shake

Add white rum, light rum, dark rum, fresh lime juice, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and angostura bitters into a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.

Strain over crushed ice

Fill a short rocks glass (or double old-fashioned) with crushed ice. Double-strain the shaken mixture over the crushed ice to remove small shards of ice and any foam.

Tequila Topper

Gently float 1800 Tequila over the top: Pour 0.5 oz of 1800 tequila slowly over the back of a bar spoon so it rests on the surface of the daiquiri, creating a distinct topper. Alternatively, you can pour it down the inside of the glass to create a gradual blend.

Garnish

Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim and, if desired, a dehydrated citrus wheel on top of the ice. Serve with a short straw so the drinker can mix the tequila into the cocktail as they wish.
