Pulled Pork

Method

Pulled Pork

  1. 1

    Prepare the Rub

In a bowl, mix together smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

  2. 2

    Season the Pork

Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder, making sure to cover all sides. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator for best results.

  3. 3

    Smoke the Pork

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Place the pork shoulder in the smoker and smoke for about 8-10 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C).

  4. 4

    Rest the Pork

Once done, remove the pork from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before shredding.

  5. 5

    Shred the Pork

Using two forks, shred the pork into bite-sized pieces.
