Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients and prepare them by dicing the jalapeno, shredding the cabbage, and measuring out the crab meat and rice.

  2. 2

    Cook the Egg

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shredded cabbage, diced jalapeno, and field peas. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.

  4. 4

    Combine Rice and Crab

Add the cooked rice to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Gently fold in the jumbo lump crab meat, cooking until heated through. Season with additional salt and pepper if necessary.

  5. 5

    Serve

Plate the crab rice mixture and top each serving with a fried egg. Drizzle with hot sauce aioli to taste.
