1. Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Sauté the Shrimp
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp, salt, and black pepper, cooking until the shrimp turns pink, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
3. Prepare the Sauce
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, mixing until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
4. Combine Ingredients
Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet along with the chopped macadamia nuts. Toss everything together to coat in the creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a bit of pasta water to loosen it.
5. Serve
Plate the cooked pasta and top it with the shrimp and macadamia mixture. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and additional grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy!
