Preparation
Brew Coffee
Brew 2 cups of strong coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature.
Prepare Egg Mixture
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until the mixture is pale and creamy.
Add Mascarpone
Gently fold the mascarpone cheese into the egg yolk mixture, ensuring it is well combined.
Whip Cream
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
Assembly
Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee, making sure not to soak them.
Layer Components
In a rectangular serving dish, layer half of the dipped ladyfingers at the bottom.
Add Cream Mixture
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
Repeat Layers
Repeat the process with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture, finishing with the cream on top.
Chill Tiramisu
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
Serve
Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder using a fine sieve.
