Station Tools & Consumables
Method
Bar Base — BB Package (set up and classic drinks)
Setup
Reserve a 6–8 ft bar table and position two staff behind it. Chill Prosecco bottles in ice buckets. Place large coolers with cubed ice within reach. Arrange spirits grouped (vodka, gin, bourbon, vermouth) and juices/sodas on the service table. Set garnishes (lemon/lime wedges, orange slices, mint, olives) in small bowls with tongs. Ensure glassware and disposable cups are accessible.
Station Prep — juices and mixers
Pour orange juice, cranberry juice, ginger beer and sparkling water into labeled beverage dispensers or pitchers and chill. Prepare simple syrup (if not pre-made) by dissolving equal parts sugar and water over low heat; cool. Cut lemons and limes into wedges; cut orange slices and lemon wheels. Bruise mint sprigs lightly to release aroma.
Classic Mimosa (batch)
Batch for speed: In a 5–6 liter dispenser combine 3 liters chilled Prosecco with 3 liters fresh orange juice for a light 1:1 ratio. Stir gently and keep chilled with ice around the dispenser (do not dilute). Serve in chilled flutes or paper champagne cups; garnish with an orange slice or a mint sprig if requested.
Vodka Soda & Gin Fizz (station builds)
Vodka Soda: Pour 45 ml (1.5 oz) vodka into a highball over ice, top with 120 ml sparkling water, squeeze half a lime, stir once, garnish with lime wedge. Gin Fizz-style: Pour 45 ml gin over ice, add 15 ml simple syrup, 20 ml fresh lemon juice, top with 90–120 ml sparkling water, stir, garnish with a lemon wheel and mint sprig.
Cranberry Mule
Build in a copper or highball: 45 ml vodka, 60 ml cranberry juice, 90 ml ginger beer, add 15 ml lime juice, stir gently. Garnish with lime wedge and mint. Keep ginger beer chilled and add at point of service to retain fizz.
Bourbon Classic (on the rocks)
Pour 45 ml bourbon over large ice cubes, add a 2–3 dashes bitters if requested, garnish with an orange peel or cherry. Provide cocktail olives on a toothpick for those who prefer savory pairing.
Bar Add-ons — BBB Package (upgraded cocktails and beer/wine)
Tequila & Rum Options
Tequila Old-Fashioned-ish: In a rocks glass, combine 45 ml añejo tequila, 10 ml simple syrup, 2 dashes bitters, stir over ice and garnish with orange twist. Dark Rum Highball: 45 ml dark rum, 120 ml ginger beer or cola, squeeze lime, serve over ice with lime wedge.
Aperol Spritz (batch)
For large service: In a 6–8 liter dispenser combine 2 liters Prosecco, 1 liter Aperol, 1 liter sparkling water for an approximate 3:2:1 ratio. Serve over ice in wine glasses and garnish with an orange slice.
Beer & Bottled Water Service
Keep craft beer selection chilled in tubs of ice. Offer bottled still water chilled. Use labeled signage so guests can self-serve from DJ area or request from bar staff.
Garnish & Special Requests
Maintain a small 'specials' tray with pickled onions, cherries, cucumber ribbons and extra bitters. Staff should ask preferences (neat/on rocks/dirty) and apply garnishes accordingly. Replenish garnishes every 30–45 minutes or as needed.
DJ Area Non-Alcoholic Beverage Station
Setup & Flow
Set the DJ-area station on a separate small table with signage listing beverages. Place cold-brew, iced tea and lemonade in insulated dispensers with spigots for self-serve. Keep artisan sodas and bottled water in a nearby cooler with ice. Provide cups, lids, straws and napkins next to dispensers.
House Iced Tea (lemon & mint)
Brew strong black tea and cool to room temp. For 5 liters: steep 16 tea bags in 6 liters hot water for 6 minutes, remove bags, stir in 250 ml simple syrup (adjust to taste), add 150 ml fresh lemon juice and a handful of bruised mint leaves. Chill and strain before placing in dispenser. Garnish cups with a mint sprig and lemon wheel as requested.
Lemonade (fresh)
For 4 liters: combine 1.0 liter fresh lemon juice with 2.5 liters cold water and 500 ml simple syrup (adjust to sweetness). Chill and serve over ice with a lemon wedge.
Cold Brew Service
Keep cold-brew in an insulated dispenser. Offer optional sugar/simple syrup and milk/cream at the station and stirrers. Label decanter 'unsweetened cold brew' and provide brewing/serving instructions to staff: serve over ice, add sweetener or milk to taste.
Clean-up & Replenishment
Monitor ice, mixers and garnishes continuously. Refill ice and disposables as needed. Keep a small waste bin behind the bar for napkins and recyclable bottles/cans. At service end, collect unopened bottles for inventory, drain dispensers, and break down station. Sanitize surfaces and tools according to local food safety standards.
