Cocktail

Method

Cocktail

  1. 1

    Chill glass

Place a coupe or martini glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail to ensure it is well chilled.

  2. 2

    Combine ingredients

Add vodka, Chambord, pineapple juice, and fresh lemon juice to a cocktail shaker.

  3. 3

    Add ice and shake

Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is very cold and the mixture is slightly frothy from the pineapple juice.

  4. 4

    Strain

Dump the ice or water from the chilled glass if used. Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe or martini glass using both the shaker strainer and a fine mesh strainer to remove small ice shards and pulp for a silky texture.

Garnish & Serve

  1. 5

Float a single fresh raspberry on the surface or express a lemon twist over the drink and drop it in. Serve immediately.
