Select clean, room-temperature white wine glasses. Rinse each briefly with very cold tap water or place glasses in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes to ensure they are slightly chilled.

Prepare glassware

Carefully remove the capsule and use a corkscrew to extract the cork. Wipe the rim of the bottle with a clean cloth or napkin to remove any cork dust or liquid.

Open the bottle

Pour white wine into each glass to about one-third full (roughly 120–150 ml per serving). If the wine is a touch too warm or you prefer slightly lighter strength, add up to 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of cold water per glass and stir gently once with a clean bar spoon.

Pouring and optional dilution
