If the bottle is at room temperature, make an ice bath: fill an ice bucket or large bowl with ice and 2 cups cooled filtered water. Submerge the bottle for 10–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the bottle reaches about 8–10°C (46–50°F). Use a thermometer if available.

Rapid chill (optional)

If you prefer a slower chill, place the bottle in the refrigerator for 2–3 hours before serving; do not freeze.

Wipe top of bottle clean. Use a corkscrew to gently remove the cork, taking care not to agitate the wine. Immediately bring the open bottle to the tasting area.

Pour a small 30–60 ml (1–2 oz) sample into a glass and gently swirl to release aromas. Note the wine’s developed roundness, subtle peach-stone notes and creamy texture on the nose.

Pour the wine into chilled white wine glasses. Serve 120–150 ml (4–5 oz) per person. Hold the glass by the stem and present it so the drinker can first appreciate the aroma, then take a small sip to assess acidity, fruit, and texture.

Optional garnish: express a lemon peel over the glass or place a thin peach slice on the rim to subtly complement the peach-stone note; do not overwhelm the wine’s profile.

Allow the wine to sit in the glass for 5–10 minutes for the creamy texture and tertiary notes to open further. Re-taste and enjoy.

If not finished, re-cork the bottle (use the original cork or a wine stopper) and store upright in the refrigerator for up to 2–3 days. Best flavor will be experienced the first day; slight loss of aromatics may occur thereafter.

Avoid prolonged oxygen exposure—finish within 48–72 hours for acceptable quality.
