Place the bottle of Pinot Grigio in an ice bucket filled with half ice and half cold water for 20–30 minutes, or refrigerate upright for at least 2–3 hours prior to serving. Ideal serving temperature is 8–10°C (46–50°F). If using a wine thermometer, aim for that range.

Chill the bottle

Carefully remove the foil capsule and use a waiter’s corkscrew to remove the cork in one smooth motion. Wipe the neck with a clean cloth to remove any cork residue or droplets.

Open the bottle
