Preparation

Prepare the Shrimp

Rinse the shrimp under cold water, then pat them dry with paper towels. Set aside.

Mince the Garlic

Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves.

Chop the Parsley

Rinse the parsley, pat it dry, and chop it finely.

Cooking

Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Allow it to warm for about 2 minutes.

Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

Cook the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Add Lime Juice and Parsley

Once the shrimp are cooked, remove the skillet from heat. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the shrimp and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Toss to combine.

Serve

Transfer the shrimp to a serving dish and serve immediately with additional lime wedges on the side, if desired.
