Equipment & serving

Method

Beer (non-alcoholic)

  1. 1

Chill the bottle of Beck's Blue thoroughly in the refrigerator for at least 2–4 hours before serving. For quicker cooling, place the bottle in an ice-water bath for 20–30 minutes.

  2. 2

When ready to serve, remove the bottle from the fridge. Optional: place the serving glass in the refrigerator or freezer for 10–15 minutes to chill it (avoid freezing solid).

  3. 3

Hold the glass at a 45° angle and slowly pour the Beck's Blue down the inside of the glass to about two-thirds full to reduce foam. Straighten the glass and pour the remaining beer gently into the center to create a 1/2–1 inch (1–2 cm) head.

Optional garnishes

  1. 4

If using a lemon or lime wedge: run the wedge around the rim of the glass (optional) and either drop the wedge into the beer or clip it on the rim. This adds a subtle citrus aroma.

  2. 5

If using mint: lightly slap the mint sprig between your palms to release aroma and place it gently on top of the head or slide it onto the rim.

Equipment & serving

  1. 6

Serve immediately while cold. If you prefer, add a few ice cubes to the glass before pouring (note: ice will dilute the beer and is not traditional).

  2. 7

Enjoy as a refreshing alcohol-free lager on its own or paired with light snacks.
