Method
Still Water Option
Chill glass
If desired, place the serving glass in the refrigerator or freezer for 5–10 minutes before serving to chill. This step is optional but recommended for maximum refreshment.
Add ice (optional)
Place 3–4 ice cubes into the chilled glass if you prefer your water cold and slightly diluted as the ice melts.
Pour water
Slowly pour 1 cup (240 ml) of cold still spring or filtered water into the glass to avoid splashing and to keep carbonation (if any) minimal.
Sparkling Water Option
Chill bottle/glass
Ensure the sparkling water bottle and the serving glass are well chilled (stored at 4–8°C / 39–46°F). Cold sparkling water retains bubbles better.
Add ice (optional)
If you like your beverage very cold, add 3 ice cubes to the glass. Note: ice will dilute and reduce fizziness as it melts.
Pour gently
Hold the glass at a slight angle and slowly pour 1 cup (240 ml) of chilled sparkling water down the side of the glass. Pouring slowly preserves carbonation and prevents excessive foaming.
Serve
Serve immediately so the bubbles remain lively. Offer a straw if requested and a bottle for top-ups if desired.
