1

Prepare glass

Fill a highball or Collins glass with ice to chill while you build the drink.

2

Mix base

In a cocktail shaker (or mixing glass) combine Seedlip Notas de Agave (2 oz), fresh blood orange juice (2 oz), fresh lime juice (0.5 oz), and agave nectar (0.5 tbs).

3

Shake

Add a handful of ice to the shaker, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels cold and slightly frosty. This chills and slightly dilutes the mixture.

4

Strain

Discard the ice from the chilled serving glass. Strain the shaken mixture into the glass over fresh ice (fill glass about 3/4 full).

5

Top and finish

Top the drink with chilled soda water (approximately 3 oz). Give the glass one gentle stir (1–2 turns) to integrate the soda without flattening the bubbles.

6

Garnish

Float a blood orange wheel on top and add a lime twist or wedge on the rim if desired. Serve immediately with a short stirring spoon or straw.

7

Notes

Adjust sweetness by increasing or decreasing agave nectar by 1/4 tbs increments to taste. For a more pronounced citrus aroma, express the oils of the lime twist over the drink before dropping it in.
