Miller Lite is a light lager that delivers a crisp, refreshing taste with a balanced blend of malt and hops, perfect for any occasion.

In a large pot, heat 5 liters of water to 70°C (158°F). Add the Pilsner malt and flaked corn. Stir well and maintain the temperature for 60 minutes.

Mashing

After mashing, drain the liquid (wort) into another pot and rinse the grains with hot water (around 75°C/167°F) to extract more sugars.

Lautering

Bring the wort to a boil. Add Hallertau hops and boil for 60 minutes. In the last 15 minutes of boiling, add the Saaz hops.

Boiling

After boiling, cool the wort quickly to around 20°C (68°F) using a wort chiller or an ice bath.

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a fermentation vessel. Add the lager yeast and seal with an airlock. Ferment at 10-12°C (50-54°F) for 2 weeks.

Fermentation

After fermentation, siphon the beer into clean bottles, leaving some space at the top. Cap the bottles and let them carbonate for another 2 weeks.

Bottling

Chill the bottles and enjoy your homemade Miller Lite!
