Baking Instructions

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).

2

Melt Chocolate and Butter

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth, stirring between each interval.

3

Mix Sugar and Eggs

In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and eggs until well combined and slightly frothy.

4

Combine Mixtures

Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring continuously to combine.

5

Add Flour and Vanilla

Sift in the all-purpose flour and add the vanilla extract. Fold the mixture gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

6

Prepare Ramekins

Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with flour or cocoa powder to prevent sticking.

7

Fill Ramekins

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.

8

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.

9

Cool and Serve

Allow the cakes to cool for 1 minute, then carefully invert onto plates. Serve immediately with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
