Cocktail Base

Method

Cocktail Base

1

Mix spirits and juices

In a large cocktail shaker (or heatproof container if making multiple servings in a pitcher), add 5 fl oz Cîroc Pineapple vodka, 1 fl oz Chambord, 0.5 fl oz grenadine, 1 fl oz fresh lemon juice, and 4 fl oz pineapple juice. Fill the shaker with ice (about 2 cups for a shaker) and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.

2

If making a sharer in a pitcher: pour the measured spirits, grenadine and juices into a 1.5–2 L pitcher filled with 4 cups of ice and gently stir to combine and chill (do not shake the pitcher).

Top & Fizz

3

Assemble in sharer bowl or large pitcher

If using a sharer (large glass or bowl) or serving pitcher, add remaining ice (about 2–4 cups) and transfer the chilled cocktail base into the vessel. Gently pour 8 fl oz chilled Schweppes Pink Grapefruit soda over the top to add effervescence, stirring once gently with a long spoon to incorporate without flattening the soda.

4

Just before serving, open the mini bottle of chilled Prosecco and float or place it in the sharer so guests can pour their own Prosecco to taste. Alternatively, pour the entire mini Prosecco into the sharer for an immediate fizz (adds about 187 ml of sparkling wine).

Garnish & Finish

5

Garnish and serve

Arrange 4 pineapple wedges, 4 lemon wheels and 4 cocktail cherries around the rim or float them on top of the sharer. If using individual glasses, place one pineapple wedge, one lemon wheel and one cherry per serving. Serve with long spoons/straws and the mini Prosecco bottle alongside so guests may top their pours. Encourage gentle stirring before each serve to reincorporate settled grenadine for that signature layered pink hue.

6

Suggested serving method: portion approximately 12–14 fl oz per person (depends on how much Prosecco is added). Keep extra ice and soda chilled to top up as needed.
