Method

Cocktail

1

Chill the bottle (optional)

If the WKD bottle is not already cold, chill it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or briefly in an ice bath for 10 minutes so the drink is well chilled.

2

Prepare glass

Fill a highball or pint glass about three-quarters full with crushed ice. If using whole ice cubes, add enough to come just below the rim.

3

Add vodka (optional)

Pour 1.5 oz (one standard jigger) of vodka over the ice if you want a stronger drink. Skip this step for a non-fortified WKD.

4

Add lime juice

Pour 0.5 oz fresh lime juice over the ice. This brightens the sweet flavor of WKD and balances the sweetness.

5

Top with WKD

Open the WKD bottle and slowly pour the contents into the glass over the ice, leaving about 0.25–0.5 inch of headspace to avoid overflow. Stir gently with a cocktail stirrer or straw to combine.

Garnish & serve

6

Garnish the drink with a lime wedge on the rim and optionally a sprig of mint placed lightly on top. Give the glass a gentle stir to integrate garnish aromas.

7

Serve immediately with a straw. Enjoy responsibly.
