Method
Cocktail
Prepare glass and ice
Select a large wine glass or rocks glass. Fill the glass about three-quarters full with fresh ice cubes (approximately 1 cup).
Measure and pour Lyre’s
Pour 3 oz of Lyre’s Italian Spritz or Lyre’s Classico over the ice. Use a jigger for accuracy if available.
Stir gently
Using a long bar spoon, stir the cocktail once or twice gently to combine the Lyre’s and soda without knocking out too much carbonation.
Garnish and serve
Garnish with one fresh orange slice on the rim or floated in the glass. Optionally add an orange twist for extra aroma or a green olive/cocktail cherry if desired. Serve immediately while cold and fizzy.
Optional finishing
For a slightly longer spritz, top with an additional 1 oz of club soda or sparkling water right before serving. Express the oils of an orange twist over the drink by pinching the twist skin-side down above the glass, then drop into the drink.
