Gordon's Pink & Tropical Soda Recipe

Prepare glass

Select a highball or Collins glass (about 350–450 ml). Fill the glass with ice cubes to chill it while you measure and prepare other ingredients.

Measure and pour

Discard any melt water from the glass if it accumulated. Pour 50 ml Gordon's Pink Gin over the ice, then add 10 ml fresh lime juice.

Top with soda

Gently pour 120 ml Schweppes Tropical Soda into the glass. Pour slowly down the side or over the back of a spoon to retain carbonation and produce a light fizz.

Stir gently

Using a bar spoon, gently roll the drink once or twice to combine gin, lime and soda without flattening the bubbles.

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim and optionally a sprig of fresh mint tucked beside the ice. Serve immediately with a straw or long stirring spoon.
