Sanbitter Soda (per 3 oz bottle serving)
Method
Sanbitter Soda (per 3 oz bottle serving)
- 1
Prepare glass and ice
Select a chilled highball or rocks glass. Fill the glass with about 1 cup of fresh ice so the drink stays cold without diluting immediately.
- 2
Add Sanbitter
Pour the 3 oz bottle of Sanbitter over the ice. Hold the bottle close to the glass to reduce foaming.
- 3
Top with soda
Gently top with 2 oz soda water. Pour slowly down the side of the glass or over the back of a spoon to preserve carbonation and get a light, effervescent finish.
- 4
Optional sweetness adjustment
If you prefer a slightly sweeter profile, add 1/4 teaspoon simple syrup and stir gently once to combine. Taste and adjust only if needed.
- 5
Add orange twist
Cut a 1-inch wide strip of orange peel, avoiding too much pith. Express the oils by holding the peel over the drink and giving it a quick twist so oils spray onto the surface, then run the peel around the rim and drop it into the glass as a garnish.
- 6
Serve immediately with a short stirrer or straw. The drink should be bright, lightly bitter, and effervescent with a fresh citrus aroma from the orange twist.
