100% Cabernet Franc grown in Loire Valley, France. Bright but soft ruby colour. Highly aromatic with a bouquet of raspberry and violet, robust and intense, with silky tannins that produce a lovely finish in the mouth.

Select ripe Cabernet Franc grapes from the Loire Valley, ensuring they are free of any blemishes.

Harvesting Grapes

Crush the grapes to release their juice and separate the stems from the fruit.

Crushing and Destemming

Add the yeast to the grape juice and allow it to ferment for 7-14 days at a controlled temperature, stirring daily.

Fermentation

After fermentation, press the mixture to separate the liquid wine from the grape solids.

Pressing

Transfer the wine to a clean fermentation vessel, add oak chips for aging, and allow to mature for 6-12 months.

Aging

Once aged, filter the wine and bottle it in dark glass bottles to protect it from light.

Bottling

Serve the Chinon Cabernet Franc at a temperature of 16-18°C in a suitable wine glass.
