Making the Tea

Boil Water
In a large saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

Sweeten (Optional)
If you prefer sweetened iced tea, add 1 cup of granulated sugar or honey to the hot tea. Stir until fully dissolved.

Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature before placing it in the refrigerator. Chill for at least 1 hour.

Once the tea is completely chilled, stir in 1 cup of fresh lemon juice and add 1 cup of fresh mint leaves.
