Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Proteins

In a large bowl, combine the chicken breast, shrimp, and steak. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the proteins evenly. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the proteins are marinating, slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips. Mince the garlic cloves.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook the Proteins

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken breast and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside. Finally, cook the steak for 5-7 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Remove and let rest.

  2. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add a bit more olive oil if needed. Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and minced garlic. Sauté for about 5-6 minutes, until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Fajitas

Slice the cooked chicken, shrimp, and steak into strips. On a warm flour tortilla, layer the proteins with sautéed vegetables. Top with shredded cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve the assembled fajitas immediately with lime wedges on the side. Enjoy your delicious combo fajitas!
