Garlic mayo is a creamy sauce blending mayonnaise with minced garlic, often used to enhance various dishes.

Wash and core the red apples, then chop them into small pieces. You can leave the skin on for extra flavor and color.

Prepare the Apples

In a large pot, combine the chopped apples and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Combine Ingredients

Once boiling, add granulated sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon stick, cloves, and grated ginger. Stir well to combine.

Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. The apples should be soft and mushy.

Simmer the Mixture

After simmering, remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Use a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to strain the liquid into a clean container, discarding the solids.

Once the liquid is cool enough (around room temperature), sprinkle the yeast over the surface and stir gently to incorporate.

Pour the cider into sanitized bottles, leaving some space at the top. Seal the bottles with caps or corks.

Bottle the Cider

Store the bottles in a cool, dark place for about 1-2 weeks for fermentation. Check periodically for carbonation.

Ferment

After fermentation, chill the cider in the refrigerator. Serve chilled and enjoy your crisp & bright red cider!
