Method

Brew the Tea

    Boil Water

    In a kettle, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

    Steep Tea

    Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 tablespoons of black tea leaves. Cover and let steep for 5-7 minutes.

    Strain Tea

    After steeping, strain the tea into a pitcher to remove the leaves. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

Add Lemon Flavoring and Sweetener

    Mix Ingredients

    Once the tea is cooled, add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and stir well. If desired, add sugar or honey to taste.

    Garnish

    Add lemon slices to the pitcher for additional flavor and visual appeal.

Add Alcohol (Optional)

    Combine with Alcohol

    If you want to make it a hard iced tea, add 1 cup of vodka or rum to the pitcher and stir well.

Serve

    Chill and Serve

    Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to chill. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
