Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into round patties, about 3/4 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Place each cooked patty on a hamburger bun. Top with lettuce, sliced tomato, and ketchup.

Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to form fries.

  2. 6

    Season the Fries

In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  3. 7

    Bake the Fries

Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.
