Burger Preparation

Prepare the Beef Patties
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat.

Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into round patties, about 3/4 inch thick.

Assemble the Burger
Place each cooked patty on a hamburger bun. Top with lettuce, sliced tomato, and ketchup.

Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to form fries.

Season the Fries
In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Bake the Fries
Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.
